It prohibits agencies from enacting special regulations for their own benefit and to intentionally discriminate against those who seek to circumvent those standards. Moreover, the Suresh Act does not require private entities to comply with those strict standards, otherwise they can serve as the subject of civil or criminal lawsuits.” Some individuals have reported seeing their personal information exposed from violating this over at this website and some businesses have been ordered to pay a portion of excess costs or drop their business as the result. The Suresh Act will affect a small number of businesses unless the Legislature opens the door to other legal remedies for corporate espionage.
